Remember Lynch Drugs well. I actually had the honor and pleasure of taking Mr. Lynch's daughter, Deana, out a couple of times while going to Clemson ('79-'83). Very sweet young lady as I remember. God rest his soul. He past away back in 2010 but was a great leader of the community.

Met Tom Lynch just months out of Clemson when he hired

me to come over and design the interiors for a suite of offices in 1966 for young dentist that was going to set up practice down in the basement of Lynch Drug Store. I couldn't believe him calling for this service..and the chance it gave me to drive over from Greenville to my beloved Clemson..plus meet him personally.

A neat, handsome & astute guy who supported Clemson like nobody else...and I continued to see him out on the football trail and at bowls for 30+ years...and back in 2000 he saw me at filling station up in Davidson NC on I-77 when I was gassing up my RV..and he & beautiful wife came over to tell me they liked the rig..and used this occasion and my suggestions to buy themselves one to travel in. Haven't seen him in dozen years.

GoTiGERs...and thanks Tom for all you & Family have meant to Clemson!

I don't think I can ever remember going to that store. I know I made it to The Study Hall and Red Carpet Lounge, but never ventured much past that. I can't believe I don't remember that store - seriously.

I do remember going to the movie theater to watch Jane Fonda in Barbarella, so I had to walk past there. :)
