S. Anthony Defensive MVP?

Oct 16, 2012, 11:34 AM

I love the guy's potential, but I was taken aback when I first saw that. Then, as I thought about it a little more, I honestly couldn't decide who I thought was the team's defensive MVP. I wouldn't say that any of guys have been consistently good or great. However, if I had to pick one, I'd probably say Tig Willard was the defensive MVP. He doesn't have the best numbers on the team, but I think he's probably the most consistently solid guy that we have on that side of the ball. Maybe Breeland as the runner up.

There really hasn't been an 'Andre Branch' or 'Deandre McDaniel' in this bunch, at least not consistently. No one has really jumped up and made huge plays every week. So the MVP is going to be a someone with a workman performance who is less splashy. IMO

I'd say Tig or Blanks before I'd say Anthony***
