Whenever we were on offense in 3rd or 4th down critical conversion situations, there were MANY times they didn't put the yellow first down line on the field, but when BC was in the same situation, they ALWAYS put the line on the field.
Folks, that is a HUGE advantage for a player to know how far they have to go to get the first down and it just shows me how far up the ladder the bias in this league goes. We should just give the ACC the finger and leave.

Dude - the players have to wear special 4-D glasses to see the yellow line. BC didn't provide the glasses for our players. You can never trust those Eagles.

BC players have HUDs in their visors, allowing them visual acuity to the line.
The guy at the 20 yard line along the sideline in the red shirt comes out, stops play, and during the commercials pulls the yellow line off the field while we are huddling by Dabo, Chad, and Brent on the sideline. Then he gets the OK from the replay booth to restart play when the line mysteriously disappears.

To buy semi-obsolete F14 HUDs for their football visors. Ryan had MIT re-calibrate them to perceive the heller line. They also got laser guidance emitters from the Mass.ANG so their defense could move our line at their leisure.
Our 567 years were actually over 800 yards. I sent a fax to Swoffie, but he has yet to return my inquiry. I am sure he is in class, taking SWAL 121 at his alma mater....

there are special glasses that you can get which will enable you to see the yellow line as plain as day.i have had a pair for quite a while,and believe me they work great.i'm sure your optometrist can help you out.

I have tried and tried to get rid of that yellow line. Windex doesn't seem to work. I'm glad to know it is just a feature for the enjoyment of my viewing pleasure. After all these years I finally found out what the yellow line was for.

I am color blind.
Couldnt see it when I played, cant see it now. Only difference is I dont remember if they had it when I played on account most TV's only got 3 channels, if you had aluminum foil on the rabbit ears. So I am not sure if I couldnt see it or maybe they just werent using it. But since I was playing I wasnt watching it on TV anyway.
Maybe they should just do the line in green, that way nobody can see it.

We didn't pay for the yellow line service because CU had to go through the local Boston Union. SC govenor doesn't like unions so it was not approved. We can contact Hoffa Jr next time and get a special deal without the public knowing we went through the union.
