Front Page Story: Chip on his shoulder

Aug 16, 2012, 11:43 PM

Chip on his shoulder

DeShawn Williams has had a chip on his shoulder almost since the time he could walk and talk. He was never going to be good enough, tall enough or fast enough. He would never amount to anything. Full Story »

Keep that "chip" mentality all year baby! Love the comments on Shatley and the O line.

Enjoyed watching Daddy Williams run that ball in the 90s

Looking forward to watching young Williams use his quick feet to stop some plays in the backfield. Back it up DeShawn!

Hard to imagine how much better he could've been if he hadn't gotten hurt and had a better coach than Hatfield.

Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

And agree - had unlimited potential.

We have a VHS of the bowl game from his Freshman year. He was unstoppable.

Thing is, Danny still would've redshirted him.

DeShawn who?????

Just kidding - couldn't hurt to add to that attitude. Can't wait to see him use it on the field.

Watch the video interview. Speaks highly of Shatley and the OL so you get a little "feel good".
