I would have put the 09 win over Miami in there

going on the road in that environment against the number 8 team in the country and getting an overtime victory. That was HUGE and Cj once again showed America why he should have been at least invited ot the Heisman ceremony.

Agreed 100%!!! CJ had a great game, but Jacoby was the hero on the slant play!

My take on it: 2011 ACCCG (number one no matter how you look at it) 2009 @ Miami (huge…HUGE win on the road, biggest win up to that point) 2008 S Carolina (enough said) 2011 FSU (key to locking up the division) 2011 VT (big win to end the gauntlet run)
Honorable mention: 2009 FSU 2011 Auburn 2009 Music City Bowl

One of the key stats in the narration:
Jun 11, 2012, 5:31 PM
|
|
"With the '08 win over the coots, Clemson had won 10 of the last 12 meetings!"
Which means that even with their three consecutive wins, we've still won 10 of the last fifteen meetings, including back-to-back in '07-'08 and four-in-a-row TWICE ('97-'00 & '02-'05).
Let 'em crow . . . we'll be back on track this year.
Go, Tigers!

No way the #1 win isn't over the University of Florida!!!

When Dabo Swinney won CJ Spillers signature over UF and then was able to keep him on campus the Clemson program experienced a shift. NO way we make the ACC Champ game against GT or win more than 4 games that year without Spiller. Then, his impact on recruiting.. see Sammy Watkins and Mike Bellamy (yeah, I know...). They came to Clemson for the reason may of us did, but gave it a chance because they loved watching CJ play for Clemson. I truly believe that Spiller was a program changer and as long as Dabo is HC, any victory from that point on can be linked back to his signing of CJ.

I was a student sitting in class when the announcement of CJ's signing was made. Unbelievable . . . class was literally interrupted by the cheers. I know recruiting is big, and we all follow it religiously, but I've never seen so many students following signing day, educated and aware of the relevance/impact peretenint to what was actually happening. You could definetely sense that the program was heading in a good direction . . .
