a 16 team playoff. ALL conference winners compete + a few wildcards. Lose a game in regular season in a 11 game regular season, 1 "cupcake" game goes away (so what). Only way to determine a true National Champion vs rankings/opinion polls/computer algorithm. Huge bucks in this tournament, March Madness in December/January (see FCS Football playoff model) I know, "not invented here"......
