Him plus the other guy from same hs Grayson had talked about not ruling out playing together in college. Wish May would get here so this guy can announce where he will go. He said he will get it done and announce after Grayson spring football game.

Not to be a pessimist

But I just can't imagine us reeling this kid in when the sec has been dominating the BCS lately. I mean seriously, 2 teams from not only the same conference but the same division played for the national championship last year... Immediate playing time may look good for him here and our campus is incredible, but it just seems like a REALLY long shot.
Of course, hopefully I'm wrong on this and I will gladly swallow those words!

and win a BCS bowl, and our defense plays well, then maybe that will convince him to come here. Along with our great campus and gameday atmosphere.

Well Mario Edwards, last years "Nkemdiche", went to FSU. Bowers is also a good example. You never know what goes through these kids heads and there are tons of factors that go into their decision making process.

He probably called coach to let him know he is not coming to Clemson and that the LSU offered him hoes money and a POS laptop.

a laptop that works well and as much money as a high school kid needs. That also means he has a lot of intelligent input from parents who can place priority where it belongs. We might not sign him - but it won't be because we "don't have a Chick Fila" or because of the color of our uniforms.

Lets not forget that Clemson is thought of as an SEC type school in the ACC. And these kids see that Clemson gets players in the First round of the NFL draft.

Was a great get, but he was in-state. If CU can land an put of state #1 recruit Dabo will solidify his legendary recruiter status.
Does anyone know which coaches are involved with this recruit? I know we "team recruit" but are any of them more focused on landing RD?

I'd imagine he's pushing him towards Bama. If Robert doesn't like Bama though, I'm sure his coach's second favorite would be Clemson.

I would not sell our staff short. They went into Florida last year and landed Sammy Watkins, who some would argue turned out to be the best freshman in that class. ugay will do things we won't do, but time will tell. We have our work cut out for us in that we won't stoop as low as some programs, and ugay and many others, know no rules barriers.

Would make an immediate impact like Clowney did for USC last year. Kid has the size, speed, and power to be a dominant DE.

And those are two of the all-time greats at Clemson. That's how good this guy is going to be.
