Reader's father will rue the day

if he pushes his son to Maryland. Maryland is in a state of despair. The fans and alumni want Edsall out of there and I think it will happen with in a year or two.
Hopefully Reader will go against his father's judgement and follow his own heart and play where he wants to play; hopefully that place is Clemson.

I figured Edsall would had done well at Maryland. I mean considering what he did at UCONN.

Edsall took a long time to build his program at UCONN, if the MD fans give him time, I'd be worried about them a few years down the road.

Edall alienated players, boosters and local press. He came in with a "if you are not with me, you are against me" attitude and it rubbed people the wrong way. I think he can turn the program into the way he wants it but i don't think he will get the time. if he has another season like he did this year, he is gone. It also doesn't help he has (as of right now) 8 players transferring out of the program.

Instincts,Instincts,Instincts! I really hope my instincts are off base, but this guy seems to have Maryland written all over him. Coach Swinney is gaining ground with some great 2013 defensive linemen and this loss will not kill us in the long run.

I want him BAD. He is a beast and him and Watkins could be a force. On the other hand, if he goes to Maryland, he will dominate our OL for four years.

He is a good kid and I'll be surprised if he is not a Tiger this time tomorrow. Even if he isn't I wish him the best, just not when we play them.

Not to come to Maryland. That's how bad it is for them right now.

I will say what is on my mind about MD. No kid in his right mind would choose MD over Clemson when it comes to College Football. I keep hearing the stuff on their academics, but I have not seen much evidence to back it up. I can say I never met a MD graduate who was someone I thought, wow, they really are bright! The Fridge was about as smart a MD grad as I ever saw, and he wasn't smart enough not to eat his way into oblivion. I rest my case.

Ralph Freidgen did. He, also, is referred to as "Fridge".

Well, you are making the wrong interpretation. In my post, I reference to whom I was speaking as a graduate of MD. I hold WP in very high regard as one of the best players to have been a Tiger. What he did at Clemson was awsome, and he probably led the way for the super sized players with real athletic ability all across the country. It seems like, after he came along, all the linemen started getting super sized.
