A little excerpt from a March 25th article, shortly before he committed to OU:



Of those programs, only Clemson has yet to extend an offer.

"Clemson is a great overall program," Pledger said. "They are making something special there. And a lot of my teammates (IMG Academy) are either going there or are considering Clemson and love it."

Pledger has no set timetable for a decision — but there's speculation he could opt to commit to Oklahoma this weekend while currently on campus for a visit. The Sooners have been regarded as the frontrunner is his recruitment.

"I don't know when I'm going to commit, it could just be whenever I feel like it," the No. 32 overall prospect said.

That Clemson hasn't pulled the trigger on an offer won't hurt the Tigers' chances if Clemson does elect to jump in the mix in the future, Pledger says.

"No it won't hurt them at all. Because at the of the day it's Clemson."

40-yard dash at a Nike event last summer with a 4.24 and 4.33 timing. This is Reggie Bush and CJ Spiller speed. This kid is 6'0 and around 205 pounds. I think we'll be just fine next year.

the guy that everyone looks back on and says how did we miss him. i watched his film last year before he committed and I was blown away. I dont know why a lot of programs didnt jump on him early, including us but I think this kid is going to be dynamite. Looks like a guy that can do it all.

We should offer. I think we should have offered Master Teague too, very underrated back who seemed to like Clemson. But Pledger deserves an offer

I read somewhere Dabo told White he would not offer another RB. If this is true, apparently Dabo kept his promise and this would explain why Pledger and other high ranking RBs were not offered.
