Only time will tell how good DJ will be, but he strikes me as similar to Woody Dantzler and Joey Hamilton, only a little bigger.
Neither of those guys was a prototypical QB or had any chance of playing QB in the NFL, but they had pretty solid college careers.
I think Joyner could be as good. Time will tell. He has a huge disadvantage in that he is now a coot.

Bryant can run to keep a defense honest and create passing lanes to all of the 5* WRs he has to help him behind a line full of blue chip OL guys. Joyner will be running for his life behind a line of 2/3* OL and chuck it up to 1-2 decent options and then a bunch of nobodies.

agreed. Unless the Coots make MASSIVE improvements in their OL, Joyner is going to take a pounding that would make a #### star cringe.

Still needs an oline to block for him and they aren't exactly reeling in the cream of the crop in that dept.

Yeah it's going to take a minute to rebuild our oline. But I have full faith in any prospect Eric Wolford wants. His one recruiting class with us in 2010 produced three NFL offensive lineman.

Oh, ok. Thanks. - just had never paid attention to the 5.? type rating from rivals. Dakereon is rated higher than KB across the board though.
