Question on the First Amendment

I'm a big fan of the 1st Amendment, it's the cornerstone of any free society. But I do not understand why we allow RT (Russia Today) cable channel to actively propagandize our population.

I do not believe that silencing a foreign governments false information machine would be a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Any thoughts?

used to watch it a couple of years ago when aby martin was reporting there. I worked with her on a documentary and she is "entertaining" to say the least. Have not tuned in recently, but I hardly considered it Russian propaganda and mroe so as anti imperialism with a focus on human rights. ####, even larry king works there now.

I didn't know Russia had a cable channel. You won't have to worry about me watching it, I get enough lies from the MSM and Foxnews.

We can't start limiting speech just because it's wrong in our opinions. There's enough restrictions on free speech, good hard conservative speech, on college campuses now.

It is the first amendment, let us not move it to last.
