Gaffney WR Dennis Smith will visit North Carolina March 25th, Virginia Tech on April 1st and is going back to Duke on April 4th or 5th. He also plans to attend Clemson’s spring game April 8th. Smith last heard from USC late last week and he hasn’t heard from Clemson since his junior day visit there. He said Duke is still making the strongest push for him.
Dennis hasn't heard from Clemson?? Wow!

BUT he's along way from plan Z. He's camped at Clemson and the staff loves him. They rate players themselves,they don't follow Rivals/247/ESPN/Scout.Adams is all UNCheat, part of Dad getting hired.

I'm sure they don't follow star ratings. I don't either. We've had plenty WRs with low star ratings...Humphries, Brown, Renfrow, etc. and the coaches can like a lot of players but like some more than others. They actually started to like Dakereon Joyner more as a QB back in December but then shortly after, Trevor Lawrence committed. They like Devon Lawrence at RB, but they like Zamir White more

He's right in the sense that the staff does like SMith but 92 is also right in saying there are other WR targets higher on the board who we want much more.

We don't want jordyn adams. Plus he's mainly a qb. He's very stuck up and thinks he's the greatest thing ever.

way off base. smith has always been our #3 WR on the board. at this point, we plan to take 2. as always the recruiting numbers are fluid. we could easily take 3 if we have attrition of some kind at the position. adams is wanting to play the process out. will he wind up staying with his dad? will he wind up signing a baseball contract? the bus may well leave him, as it did others in the last couple years. staff feels there is not enough diff in smith and adams to risk losing smith now.. and then adams later. smith is a player.

He pretty copied and pasted part of Bartow article. Smith hasn't heard from the staff tells me there are others higher on the other than Adams like Copeland or we are looking at another position for that schilly.
