When asked about recruiting his teammate, Xavier Thomas, Jones said:
“My message to him is basically that you can come play with your close friends and play for ACC titles and compete for national championships,” Jones said, “or you can go and not even win your conference championship and you can take a serious beat down once a year.”

Once a year? Is he only planning to play 1 game a year with the coots?
If he goes to USuC he will take a lot more than 1 serious beat down a year.
Heck, he will probably average 1 FCS beat down each year.

hear the same things coming out of his mouth that we heard from Ben in high school. Already showing leadership with that class. I know Trevor Lawrence is a silent leader but Jones seems like that vocal guy at lb that we have enjoyed with Ben.

Taking over where Amari Rodgers left off. He was an incredible recruiter for us with the last class and I know he helped with Tee Higgins and others. Can't wait for him to arrive this summer. Can't beat an All In Tiger!

He also said that when he had to go to South Carolina with IMG he didn't talk to anyone and would've stayed on the bus to sleep if he could've lol
