Ranked 7th with only 14 recruits. That just goes to show you the quality of recruits we are getting. Could easily be top 5 if we get a couple more 4 or 5*

I know right, its nice to be in that situation now where we just choose who we want instead of just taking what we can get. Its all Quality over Quantity with us, we should still end up with 18-20 Commits for the Class.

I recall how some of our fans said that those ratings don't really matter and kept saying like we had all the talents in the world. Back then, I compared what we got with what other elite teams got and kept saying we're not there yet.
The tone has certainly changed. Now, we recruit like one of those elite programs. It's a good time to be a Clemson fan.

"stars don't matter" is something people that never get players with a lot of stars say. you're right, we were those people a while back. I remember getting stoked over us signing just a few 4 stars in one class and when we got 5*Ricky Sapp I thought we'd arrived! the difference now is the linemen on both sides of the ball. good skill players are a dime a dozen but elite linemen are rare and now we're gettin em!!!

Jus to out of curiosity, I just looked at the class with Ricky Sapp on 24/7, that was a stacked South Carolina class, like 7 in the top 250. We only snagged two of them tho in Sapp and Maxwell. My how things have changed.

We have 14 recruits and are ranked 7th. Coots have 21 recruits and are ranked 15th. 2/3 star guys don't get it done.

don't know about espn, but we're 3rd behind only Bama and Ohio St per rivals star rating. pretty good company if u ask me!
