#1 Recruit in the Country

Oct 5, 2016, 12:39 AM

2018 SF Zion Williamson called his Clemson visit this past weekend an "amazing experience."

ZW is ranked the #1 basketball recruit in the nation. Kansas is coming in to see him this week, and he's supposed to visit SC this weekend. Hurricane may affect that.

Small forward.

In case you didn't know, there's also a point guard, shooting guard, power forward, and center in the game of basketball.

His step-father is Lee Anderson, former Tiger basketball

player.

And Lee's brother is Willie Anderson, who played and coached football at Clemson.

So strong Clemson connections for Zion.

Kansas offered him today.

Brownell beat them to the punch by about a year and a half.

Everyone that you can imagine has offered, but we still have a fighter's chance.

I think those family connections will help. Also the fact that Brownell spotted and offered him literally a year before the other big schools did. Clemson was his first high major offer.

If we get a kid who is really coveted by the Heels then

It will be an historic turning point in our basketball recruiting.

Think about it...

Oct 5, 2016, 10:20 PM

We had BOTH 2018 #1 recruits on campus at the same time. When's the last time that happened anywhere?
