If Butch craps the bed this year and gets fired would Tenn be interested in Petrino? Would Petrino leave Louisville? IMHO I think it could go either way hypothetically. What say you?

Most programs would be "interested" in Petrino, he's a great coach.

I don't believe he leaves, but I don't know the man so I'm left believing he took the UofL opportunity with a commitment to it's longevity. He and the AD are friends.

I think it would be a great opportunity if it presented itself. Recruiting would be easier and I believe the resources would be more accessible.

That's an excellent question. I could see that scenario playing out if Tenn ends the year terribly. While Petrino can coach, his past would give me hesitancy before hiring him. He practically quit on the Falcons and had the scandal a few years ago. Seems like a coach who's only committed to himself. But I don't know who personally so I could be wrong. :/
