Football Tickets

Sep 23, 2016, 3:57 PM

My lovely girlfriend and I both graduated in May.

The prices for next weeks home game are absolutely through the roof. Can anyone offer any advice on how to get two tickets for the lady and myself? WIthout having to perform any type of "favors".

Serious post. Go Tigers!

Check outside of the stadium just before kickoff. You might get lucky.

Don't buy the tickets from scalpers. They are too expensive and it's scetchy. Walk around the nice tailgates holding up two fingers. You'll end up passing at least one tailgate that has two tickets to sale. Normally this is due to someone getting too drunk or a wife getting mad. You can almost always get them at face value this way. I normally pay 20ish a ticket for lower deck during bad games. Might have to be willing to pay 100 a piece this weekend, but it will still be the cheapest way.

That actually sounds like a plausible idea. I just want to be sure i have tickets though, October 1st is our one year anniversary. She is a good one fellow Tigers. :)

It's what I do, if you can't get a ticket you can always go to Esso Club and watch it.

If you're okay with upper deck youll get one no problem.

1. Spend your savings and buy tickets at the price the market demands
2. Expect them to drop in price significantly outside the stadium
3. Hope to get lucky and find generous Clemson fan before game willing to sell at lower price
4. Determine priorities and if money better spent for this game, or skip game and save money for future event
5. Pics of girlfriend would help

I have idea, you should donate to iptay like rest of us. I graduated in 2015 and get a great discount through the YA Iptay program.

I have an idea.

You probably didn't think Louisville would be our biggest home game of the year.

If you can't help, then why reply telling me what to do with my money?

I need help. Not coot help.

You're the one complaining about the prices of tickets bud, not me.

I offered a suggestion on how to avoid this problem in the future. Either donate to iptay or expect to pay high prices for games like this.

You sound like someone that expected a break. Or someone that thinks since they just graduated they are entitled to something.

Donate to IPTAY, if you want decent ticket prices or go to the SC State / comparable game.
