Who's your sleeper

On this Clemson team to make an impact this year? I'm going with Kendall Joseph, I think he will be a household name when it's all said and done.

He must have really improved if he's going to beat out Deshaun.

Kelly will be doing good if he cements the back-up job.

That is his main challenge this fall and into the season.
If he wins the back-up spot outright and gets meaningful snaps this year, he might have a future as Watson's successor, even though the 2017 race for QB is going to be a huge battle no matter who plays 2nd team this year.
IMHO Bryant simply has to become the undisputed back-up QB by August to have any future at the position at Clemson.

If Kelly gets meaningful work this season, he might have an ever-so-slight edge at the outset in 2017 due to experience, but if he doesn't push completely past Schuessler this season, his future as a Clemson QB looks pretty dim and he may be looking at a position switch or a transfer.
Personally, I think he'll become our solid #2 QB by August and will be the "man to beat" in 2017.
But, with the talent coming in, I still don't have a lot of confidence that he'll be the starter in 2017.

I'm going with Clelin Ferrell and Austin Bryant I see them both getting around double digit sacks and plenty of TFLs.

consider Austin Bryant a true sleeper since he was so impressive at times last year. Dorian O'Daniel sort of falls into that same category, but I would not be surprised to see him have a huge year either.

I like your pick tho. Him was impressive last spring game and this one. He knows how to hit the hole hard.

Trayvon Mullen and Ray Ray McCloud

Trayvon has some great hips and feet and should be playing a lot by mid year.
Ray Ray has more speed and acceleration than Scott, but he doesn't have as much size. You could see them both on display in some of the plays he made earlier in the year. With a bit more size and knowledge since last year, that should free him up to break some long ones.

Tre Lamar. Yes, he's a true freshman, but I think he's ready to contribute in a big way.

the DEEEEEP sleeper. I think he wins the CB2 job and leads the team in INTs.
I also think Dorian Odaniel will be an ALL ACC performer

Trey Lamar is already the best linebacker on the team. A man among boys.

looks like he still has a ways to go. I think Isaiah Simmons will play over him and he won't even make the 2 deep this year.
Honestly I think he'll be a NICKEL/SAM linebacker

Dang - dat's a lot of sleepers on our team. If only 1-2 of these 20+ sleepers rise to the challenge, it's gonna be awesome to watch.
For me - I think Dorian O'Daniel is going to be one of the best defenders on the team, but that's probably expected by most of us. So I have to go with Van Smith. The guy can de-cleat people, and gets to the ball in a hurry.

How are we defining Sleeper? I think Tre Lamar could start by the end of the year, and Dye will hopefully surprise some people.
