Tony Elliott called the type of game that

Oct 4, 2015, 12:55 AM

got us a WIN! Was it Vanilla in the 2nd half? Yes! But if he'd started throwing it in those conditions and we'd thrown a pick 6 or some sack/fumble scenario, all you jacka$$es who've never put a helmet on would've never let him hear the end of it. He played it safe because he knew he had the best Defense in the Country as his Ace up the Sleeve and he felt like we had a big enough cushion. And guess what....your CLEMSON TIGERS are 4-0 and a TOP 10 PROGRAM! So shut your mouths, kiss your misses and get some sleep! We've got some Bees to Beat!

I would agree, but then why throw into the end zone on 1st down in the red zone? That interception changed the entire game.

To borrow an expression

NM

It wasn't vanilla

Oct 4, 2015, 1:21 AM

It was nauseating

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Too much Vanilla

And eventually you will get sick.

We should have sealed that game in the 2Q. Should not have been close.

I don't know why we're such a 'Play Not To Lose' strategy in every game.

It's going to cost us somewhere along the line. You have to have a killer instinct and put teams away.

Great Win. Go Tigers! Probably the best game I've ever seen live.

Obviously the OP is disoriented from the way too close for comfort win. He meant Brent Venables not Tony Elliot. Now I'm off to kiss the lady, and go to bed with a smile on my face because of the crowd that ESPN is choking on right now. Go Tigers!!
