hire. OP, whether you like him or not, had us on the cusp of greatness. We were nationally relevant in college basketball. Analysts talked about us in a great light. We made it to the ACC conf tourney finals. If TDP had made a better hire, the next guy couldve came in and got us over the hump. Instead he cheaped out and hired a terrible coach but "a great guy". Now look at where we're at. TERRIBLE. Getting beat by Big South teams and absolutely demolished by an average coot team.

Honestly think it's going to take someone like this. I think Brownell is a good coach at a b ball school. Let's be honest, Clemson is a football school..for b ball to have any kind of a chance you're going to have to get someone who plays an exciting brand of it..someone who's kinda larger than life..like AU did with Pearl
