We have two other targets

Marcus Lewis, who was at one time committed to Florida, is a 4-star DB from Washington, D.C. He is #125 overall in the 247 Sports composite. He is visiting for the South Carolina game (just announced).

Mark Fields, who is committed to the Gamecocks, is also a 4-star DB from NC. We are trying to get him on campus for a visit but haven't been successful yet.

Fields won't flip to us , he loves him some Coot.
Lewis ? Maybe. There are tons of uncommitted 3 and 4 star DBs ...most of who we have no offers extended to because we either lack interest or proper evaluation.

(early-Kearse/Alexander)the rest of the SO and FR should be around all 4 years--- They are all starter caliber/big time guys- our recruiting there has been really good: Gibson, Baker, Tankersley, Carter, Johnson, Edmond, Green

Next year and the year after will probably be the bigger years for restocking DB. We lose Peters, Jenkins, and Smith this year-- we pick-up V. Smith, Chalmers, and possibly Muse(if he plays S). If we get somebody good, we take them, but not really a need to fill out this class.

How are those guys starter caliber? How do we know? Most of those guys have no experience besides Tank.

fact some of those were competing against SRs and/or NFL caliber players for depth chart position this fall.

Beyond that, all you can do is replace #s for #s-- we possibly already have 3 commits to fill 3 d spots, unless Muse goes LB-- in that case, it's like I said, we grab one guy we think is special or we hold it

why does anyone think Briscoe or Fields is any better than what we have-- they are a mystery more so than what we have--- DB is not a position I'm worried about for the forseeable future; there are bigger position concerns for next year and the year after if guys don't pan out and/or we don't get some #s up
