new album Rivers in the Wasteland is incredible.
I'm about 5 times through it and it is seriously good.
The brothers, at least, are from right near Clemson. Are they Tigers ? Who's got the scoop ?

was Joe Stillwell - no longer with them - not sure why.
Was wondering if there were any Clemson stories or folks that know them on here.
They are going to be on Late Night tonight.

Bo & Bear were born in Possum Kingdom, SC moved to Seneca when their Dad took a church there. Went to Seneca HS. Bear went to Furman & graduated, played Football as a WR I think. Bo went to CU studied ENG I think. Left school to tour with the band. There dad pastors a church in Anderson now. It is located in front of Lowes on Clemson Blvd. There 1st video "Shine on" they filmed it themselves in & around Seneca, the music store in the Video is Musician's Den in Seneca & the owner Char Rawlings is in the video. My son & I have meet them, they are down to earth guys who haven't forgotten where they came from. They will be @ LJC Sept 19, 2014

All of them grew up in Oconee County (Seneca and Walhalla). Bear and Joe (original drummer) graduated from Furman, where the band started. Bo studied architecture at Clemson for two years before joining the band full-time.

I went to church with Bo and Bear back when their Dad was pastoring in Seneca. Played a little softball with them and talked some at church. Good family, very grounded and down to earth. Their Dad is a huge Bama fan, that's where the name Bear came from.
