We're still paying him. Most of his staff is still in place. Bowden just doesn't have to report to campus anymore.
Dabo talks about "playing Clemson Football". I hate it, but given Clemson's performance over the past 12-15 years, THIS IS Clemson Football.

Clemson was not serious about this program when they hired him. They saw a chance to try to win on the cheap with a guy who said all the right things (oh and he did beat South Carolina). For many, that was enough. Will be a while before this program is ever back to where a lot of folks say they want it to be.

Hell no dont fire DABO. Just becuase the team is shooting them selves in foot is no reason to fire such a great coach. We technically have not lost a game this year. We have shot our selves and gave away games. But no we havent just been beat straight up yet. I know a loss is a loss but this is a fact and DABO better be around a long time. Clemson football has been over due for a young high energetic coach as DABO. ALL IN!!!!!!!

I don't know, maybe the heads that need to roll belong to people further up the food chain.
Somebody convince me that we will actually go out and hire somebody better. And, lest you be tempted to say that "anybody" would be better than Dabo, let me remind you that we have been here before, and "anybody" was not better than Hatfield, West and Bowden.
It is not the fans that are at fault for "accepting mediocrity," and I do not believe any of our head coaches have really been dead set on just achieving mediocrity.
Our problem seems to be at the top, just like it has been for twenty years. Say what you will about USC, but at least their administration seems to give a sh## about their athletics program.
