Why do we continue to deal with Raycom?
Jul 8, 2010, 10:49 AM

Oh I know why, because they're located in NC and funnel money back into the power players in Greensboro.

We? We get paid nothing. The ACC gets $1.86 Billion over 12

The ACC gets over 1.86 Billion over 12 years. This works out to $155 million a year, which is more than double what the old deal was ($67 million)
Clemson will receive roughly $12.9 million each year... not a bad day

ugggh... I was hoping we would be done with Raycom. They make college football look/sound like the 1993 Scrabble championship.

Yeah other leagues have their equivalent of Raycom. I know the SEC has Jefferson Pilot, but the production value on theirs is slightly better.
We should be fine though and not relegated to Raycom very often with this new deal. Only one more year of dealing with a bunch of games being on Raycom.
