The clear break would be to not include Tebow.

I had the exact same thought

Why was Tebow invited? He was clearly below the "natural break" that the Heisman people kept touting. Oh well...the Heisman voters have already sold out, I guess the people who sponsor the award have too.

Tebow- what a joke

winners. Problely 15 to 20 are just paper trophies. If ther were only 25 voters that hated football but, all 25 knew the game. With 1 vote to come from 25 differant states scatterd out across the whole US. Send them in unknown motels. Make them call in their vote with their own code. Also these voters be selected by random selection with the only thing to watch is clips from each player. Then you may get a true heisman winner. Once you take the lobbying out of it. The out come would be a total turn around.

What a travesty! The best player in the country finishes 6th, according to them. What a pitiful shame and disgrace the Heisman has become! Glad I didn't waist my time by watching.

The Heisman is now officially a joke

Dec 13, 2009, 5:28 PM

due to media votes. This nothing short of a popularity contest. Really sad!

I'd much rather see it handled like the coaches poll with the addition of previous Heisman winners, voting.

Outstanding NFL career & Michael Vick don't go together.

Unless you're getting creative in defining the phrase "outstanding".
