Playing 'cat n mouse' with PJ is not a good idea...

just focus on man assignments and turn those Tigers loose.

I respectfully disagree...This coaching staff has made...

excellent mid-game adjustments in many games throughout the year. This is a must against PJ, who will not hesitate to tweak his offensive scheme during a game to his advantage.

Re: If we had another CJ type player on defence. That could

play very tight coverage on Thomas. That would would shut the whole GT offence down. But we don't, and it will be another shoot out.

I've often wondered why we didn't try Jacoby on D as safety

I remember him running down a Wake KO/PR guy in the comeback game that saved another score.
And his tackle against SC's int/fumble guy (can't remember) was technically perfect.

As previously noted, you don't "take away" big runs

That is a ridiculous thing to say.

Steele has made good 2nd half adjustments. See stats here.

Look at the following analysis of Koenning's D (2008) to Steele's D (2009). Koenning allowed more points in the 2nd half. Steele allowed less.

Koenning had excellent assistants as does Steele. Both are good coordinators and did good jobs. Koenning did not have CJ Spiller in the games for 3 games last year and did not have Kyle Parker on the other side. This certainly helped. When your offense is better of course your defense is helped.

And all that preparation led to ONE stop all game.....ONE***
