If we had beaten Carolina, the voting would have been reversed and Dabo would have won.

And Spiller's Heisman hopes were probably also dashed on Saturday.

Too bad for both of them!

I still think we've shown incremental improvement for the year and I am grateful for what Daba & Spiller have accomplished this year. We're still a long way from Florida & Alabama, but I'm still All in!

He may not have won the honor, but he really is the Coach Of The Year! He is head and shoulders above any of the conference head coaches in developing the maturity, attitude and performance of young men under his care. What Dabo has instilled in these young men will carry them through the tough times they will face as they become adults.God Bless his work.

I think that it is just ri-d###=diculous that Johnson won it. I was just looking back, and saw that Danny Ford only won the ACC Coach of the year twice in his time.......and Paul Johnson has just as many in only two years. I can understand PJ winning last year. He should have, but this year should have been Dabo, hands down!

PJ in yr 2, Dabo puts CU in ACCCG in yr 1, but PJ wins?***

They should have voted AFTER the ACCCG or the bowl games.

I don't understand why they vote on this stuff BEFORE the ACCCG. If Clemson beats (or say whups) GT, wouldn't the voting change? A first-year coach taking Clemson to it's first ACC championship since 1991 wouldn't earn him coach of the year 2009? Or what if Clemson were to soundly beat GT and then go on to beat a Top 6 opponent in the Orange Bowl, while GT loses in a mid-tier bowl? Wouldn't that change the voting? I just don't understand the need to vote on this stuff (including Heisman, etc) so early.
