If a game plan to beat FSU can't also beat Coastal...we need another game plan for FSU...

Genius!!! Lets give FSU a week to prepare for our gameplan***

We don't have to show our FSU gameplan to Coastal Carolina.

Oct 27, 2009, 11:55 AM

We prepared for GT in August but we didn't show our triple-option defense or our entire offensive playbook to MTSU. Instead we ran nickel and dime defenses against MTSU with a vanilla offense.

Lucas on the Hill...LOL

Oct 27, 2009, 7:04 AM

I am proud of Lucas...but a golfer running down the hill seems kinds of like Happy Gilmor.

flawed thinking

I hope he doesn't fall, many have. That's a steep hill.

You people act like Lucas just learned to walk. Good grief,

Oct 27, 2009, 12:49 PM

he's probably stood on the Hill to watch games before, and he ascends and descends steep hills all the time while golfing.

Are you really that concerned, or did you just feel compelled to type something and stir the pot?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If we he said stirs your pot, then you got some problems.

Oct 27, 2009, 3:18 PM

I've seen great football athletes hurt themselves on the Hill.

First things first

Oct 27, 2009, 7:11 AM

All you coaches out there who want to practice for FSU need to be reminded tha Coastal Carolina is our next game. While I don't expect CC to be a major obstacle I do believe that they would like nothing better than to play David to our distracted Goliath. Let's let Dabo coach. Beat Coastal!!!! Then FSU!!

Re: First things first

Oct 27, 2009, 10:27 AM

Exactly! We do not need to get caught up in a trap game right now and lose.
One game at a time!
Hope Lucas doesn't fall and break anything, would b bad.

GO TIGERS!!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm looking ahead to FSU, deal with it. Coastal sucks.***

Clemson practiced for GT before the MTSU game. It's smart.

Oct 27, 2009, 12:10 PM [ in reply to First things first ]

If Dabo is reading T-net fan-posts for advice we're in big trouble.

Clemson practiced for GT before the MTSU game. Both the coaches and the players admitted to doing so. It was the smart thing to do.

And MTSU is ten times better than Coastal Carolina.

There is no way, NO WAY, that Clemson could lose to Coastal Carolina, even if the Tigers didn't practice this week. No way.

Prioritization. The goal is to win the ACC.

Michigan felt the same way about App State not too long ago!

Oct 27, 2009, 1:28 PM

Can't overlook anyone, no matter how overmatched they may appear to be!!

We need the team to remain focused on the task at hand. That task is to work on getting better each week and correct mistakes made the last game. Everything else will fall into place.

Go Tigers!!

Michigan stank & 3-4 CC is not like a national champ App St.***

Michigan thought the same thing about App State!!

You can't overlook anybody no matter how overmatched they appear to be!!

We need to be focused on getting better from game to game and correcting the mistakes made in the previous game. The rest will take care of itself.

Go Tigers!!

CC is a FAR cry from App that year***

We practiced for GT in the summer

Oct 27, 2009, 1:51 PM [ in reply to Clemson practiced for GT before the MTSU game. It's smart. ]

and part of fall camp. But not during the week of MTSU. And GT has a complicated offense, FSU does not. it takes a lot more prep time to face GT. Also, FSU is not the Thursday following this Saturday's game. I say let the coaches coach and don't worry about it.
