There are $40 Million reasons for him to stay one more year.

Dec 15, 2008, 8:31 AM

Check out the list of what the first rounders signed for.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d808c2409&template=with-video&confirm=true

The difference between the first RB chosen (Darren McFadden at $60 Million) and the second RB chosen (James Stewart at $20 Million). Not to mention the $16 Million in guaranteed money differential.

With the quality and depth of our offensive line next year, he could be a dominating player.

Plus, the Heisman Trophy greases the skids for a wonderful life.

Re: Is there really a chance CJ can win the Heisman?

Dec 15, 2008, 11:14 AM

Its seems as though the Heisman has lost so much real creditability. With candidates this year not even invited because they were not the 1st 5 ranked teams is a farse. It almost seems to me that in order for CJ to win, outside of him having an outstanding year is that Clemson would need to be in the hunt for a top 5 ranking next year or even compete for the National Championship.
