1. it is VERY bad business to sway a coach during mid season
2. the university will have to evaluate Dabo and give him his opportunity to coach.
3. who is to say Coach Muschamp wants the job.

we will make a hire that will attract players in a couple of months. If we can start playing like we should have been playing all year, some of these questioning their commitments will think about us again.

but highly unlikely that we get a permanent coach before the end of the season. We cannot interview all of our best options before then and should not tie our hands just to save a few early enrollments. They wouldn't be guarantees at this point anyway.

why don't we keep dabo as head coach . the players obviously love him. that is why he is a good recruiter. at least see how he does the rest of the season and evaluate him then.

i know some of the coaches from his high school, from what i have been told he still really likes Clemson and is real close w/ Dabo, he will be at the game Sat.(unofficial), so i hope the tigers fans will show him a good atmosphere.

Printed Recruiting Materials. a. An institution may not provide printed recruiting materials to a prospective studentathlete (including electronic mail and facsimiles) until September 1 at the beginning of the prospective student-athlete’s junior year in high school ( Bylaw 13.4.1). b. An institution may respond to a prospective student-athlete’s request for athletically related information before September 1 of the prospective student-athlete’s junior year provided the response does not initiate recruitment and contains an explanation of the NCAA legislation that applies (Bylaw 13.4.1.2).

NCAA BYLAW 13.4.1.2 -- Electronic Transmissions Effective Date: Aug 01, 2007 Electronically transmitted correspondence that may be sent to a prospective student-athlete is limited to electronic mail and facsimiles. (See Bylaw 13.1.7.2.) All other forms of electronically transmitted correspondence [e.g., Instant Messenger, text messaging]are prohibited. Color attachments may be included with electronic mail correspondence sent to a prospective student-athlete, provided the attachment only includes information that is not created for recruiting purposes, except for items that are specifically permitted as printed recruiting materials (e.g., questionnaires). In addition, attachments shall not include any animation, audio or video clips and there shall be no cost(e.g., subscription fee) associated with sending the item attached to the electronic mail correspondence.
