Stupid question...when did it become Flour Field?

I thought it was something like West End Park? Granted I've never been to a game there and when I snuck a look at it was over Christmas last year so I could just have all that downtown construction confused.

seeking to secure one of their AAA ballparks to host the tournament. After all, we don't want to put this tournament close to any of the schools, unless it is in Durham.

...of course Swofford will do something that only benefits the North Carolina schools. He's probably drooling over UNC's new baseball stadium

Totally absurd move to schedule it there in the first place but to get shafted like this is absurd. Why give it to them in 2010?

...I'm Sorry.
I'm sorry that Swofford decided to bow down the the BC grads. I'm sorry that TDP agreed to come up to Boston.
There isn't any Boston resident or BC grad that gives and good "GoshDarn" about ACC Football, ACC Basketball or ACC Baseball.
Fsck'Boston and feed'em fish heads. When the ACC comes to town they wonder if Havadah playing So screw their invite to a tea party.

why don't you speak for yourself. As a Clemson Grad and life long resident of Boston, I disagree with everything you said. Hey s--t happens. Fenway is one of the best ballparks in the world and everyone should be excited they are hosting the ACC Championship.
Yes, not everyone is die hard college fans in Boston but that is only because of the great pro sports that are in the city. They love BC, but it is tough because Boston is a pro sports town and always will be. You don't deserve to represent every Clemson grad in New England

Trust me when I say that it wouldn't be hard to tell the difference between a Harvard fan and a Clemson fan.

How do you have a "scheduling conflict" when something has been planned for at least 3 years and you are still a year away? This isn't like some assistant put the wrong date in the boss' outlook calendar.
What a joke.
