i'm sorry but which 4 guards were voted ahead of Hammonds? I guess Rivers was one of them, but who else? No way the UNC point guard should be ahead of him, and Paulus is only better that CLiff at 2 things, free throw shooting and flopping. I guess maybe Singletary and McClinton have better numbers but they also play on teams that are basically them and a bunch of nobodies, kinda like when Will Solomon was at Clemson. Sorry just felt the need to vent.

Do the voters know that leading the conference in Turnovers is a BAD thing? He averages over 4 TOs a game!

All-ACC first team, just one on the second team, and one on the third team? Not saying I agree with those selections, but on paper it looks like a pretty incredible coaching job by OP to not have any clear "star" and still have the third-best team in the toughest conference in America.

Logical Thinking

Mar 10, 2008, 5:45 PM

One would think, logically, that if a team finishes third in a 12 team conference and has the talent to land only 1 player an the second team and one player on the third team All-Conference team

The coach must be Coach of The Year for doing the most with the talent he had and injuries the team went through.

OH!

I forget - it's voted on by primarily Norht Carolina sportswriters.
