3-8 seasons?....

The Tigers have only had three losing seasons since 1976; 3-8, 5-6, and 5-6.

Is there some way you guys could write an editorial without using the word "special"?

Experienced my first Tiger home game in '86
Nov 15, 2007, 6:03 PM

I was almost 18 and went to see my Tigers play UNC. I grew up in an all Georgia family so I had to wait until I could go on my own to the games. I have only missed a few home games since. I remember that I had never witnessed my Tigers lose a home game until the USC game of '92. Back then I thought that Clemson would always be great because they had been ever since I started following them in '77. Now I will be 39 Saturday and realize how special a time it was and can sense that those times are on the brink of returning. I have sinced this a few other times during the Tommy Bowden era only to see us slip up trying to get over the hump. Here is to this extremely talented and high character group of young men in their quest to remake history and start a new era of excellence. I wish them the best Saturday and I guarantee you I will leave my voice somewhere hanging over the field at Death Valley Saturday night. GOOOOOO TIIIIIGERRRSSSSS!!!!!!!

I experienced my first Clemson game in 87 vs. Georgia and a great last second field goal to give the Tigers the win.
At the time I was 10 and had just moved from Illinois where there was nothing even close to the atmosphere that there was and still is in Clemson.
The rest of my family are gamecock fans but I thank my best friend and best man at my wedding all the time for not letting me be one. Can't wait until Saturday and screaming my lungs out against Wake and can't make the BC game so hope everyone that is going will be screaming for me.
