My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

Clemson is a good fit, since I have two tix already, however

Nov 6, 2007, 2:27 PM

I will gladly travel to a BCS game instead.

Was there versus Tennessee, and

Nov 6, 2007, 2:30 PM

it was one of the best college games I've attended. The Peach Bowl always does a great job. It didn't hurt that we won, either.

My friends tell me I had a good time

the beer was flowing like water that day and night

I'm thinking Orange or CFA

Nov 6, 2007, 3:03 PM

CFA assumed the top spot over Gator since the ACCCG is in Jacksonville.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Why Gator, Peach is #2 ACC bowl, Gator is #3.***

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Really?

Nov 6, 2007, 7:04 PM

Last year the ACC required the Gator Bowl to select the loser of the ACC championship game unless the 3rd place team was no more than 1 game behind them in the standings, hence why Georgia Tech went to the Gator Bowl. Did they change that this year?

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes, they changed it

Nov 8, 2007, 10:53 AM

Peach Bowl now gets first pick after the ACCCG; it was changed last year to avoid the potential of the ACC runner-up playing in Jacksonville twice in a row.

I know one person who is not happy with this news

I actually heard from a friend here in the Athletic Dept. that Patty has been very ill and diagnosed with cancer. Everyone on Tigernet needs to keep her in your prayers.

I hate how The Peach Bowl is now the Chicken-a-Sandwich Bowl

Nov 6, 2007, 6:56 PM

Sad.

By far the best NON-BCS bowl!

Tommy Bowden is 7-2 vs. South Carolina
Oliver Purnell is 4-1 vs. South Carolina
Jack Leggett is 28-23 vs. South Carolina
