not a ringing endorsement? You "sky is falling" people are hilarious. Its obviously a complex situation... the heart of it being family and the high priority Spiller desires to view them, particularly his daughter.

That he is still un sure of what he is going to do. Trust me I want him to stay just as much as you do however I am not going to be silly and think this is done with and then be shocked if he did say he is going to transfer.

states pretty clearly, to me, that he is not transferring.
Spiller has said many times in the past his mother, Patricia Watkins, is every influential in his life so when asked does this mean the talk of him transferring is over, he answered, “That’s not going to happen… We are going to do the best we can to put this behind us and move forward and take it one day at a time.”
Let's move on! Spiller has.
Go Tigers!

Just my opinion, but I'd say he's gone after next year
Jan 16, 2007, 3:13 PM
|
|
Especially if he and JD keep combining for 13 carries a game like a certain recent bowl game. I don't like it, but with the RB coach leaving and the lack of carries, I'd say we better start looking at recruiting RBs next year

a young guy being unsure is normal. I hope he stays but how many of you are in his shoes? None. Most of you are probably the hypocritical guys who say fire Bowden and expect Spiller not to feel the same?
I wouldn't doubt a young guy wanting to play for a - now powerhouse. He is loking out for number one when he says that

with Merriweather and Davis running the ball. I love Spiller but, if he goes, I assure you he will miss playing while he's sitting out and waiting another year for an NFL payday a lot more than we will miss him here.

No team needs uncerainty, especially from its players. I think we'd be better off without him than WITH his uncertainty and silly games. This team is not about one player. It's about a team effort. Why should anyone else on the team be 100% committed to us if our star player isn't? He's being very selfish, childish and immature right now. Lets cut him loose and move on.

Missing Something
Jan 17, 2007, 10:28 PM
|
|
Burns leaves for $200,000! I don't like what Alabama is doing here. I like Bama, but they are buying out everything they want. According to this source and someothers, Burns is leaving for a similar position, running backs coach. No offense, there are very few pockets, def. not ours, that can match the Tide's. Somebody might need to look into stepping in on college coaches salaries. Its getting a little out of hand. If this gets into a shouting match of cash, college football could have a serious problem. How many millions did Saban go for again?

I know this article is about CJ, but I would like to add that the Tide have added the following to the coach roster: NFL Dolphins Strength Trainer, Special Teams Coach from the Tampa Bay Bics (one of the best special teams units in the NFL), The Offensive Line Coach from the Texans, Rice's Offensive Coordinator (former Texas standout quarterback Applewhite), and Burns. Thats a pretty deep and expensive coaching staff....

Go! I'm 42 years old ,Clemson supporter all of them . Go! Let me say it again Go! That was the problem with this 06 team BIG HEADS , BIG EGOS, Tommy get control of your players selfworthy attitudes and we will be back to the CLEMSON of lonnngg before 06 Bratts . Bratts were not on our 1981 team nor any of the successful years . Tommy wake up ,get control of swelled egos. That is not what builds champions or a stable program so Go! any and all bratts! I played football 15 years , I loved one on one headup with BRATTS. I have Coached for 12 years now , been successful. I COACH TEAMS ! Send-off PER NCAA RULES
