ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford comments
on Marcus Vick’s action at the Toyota Gator Bowl
“I have had several conversations with Virginia Tech Athletics Director, Jim Weaver, regarding the Marcus Vick situation that occurred in the Toyota Gator Bowl. It is obvious to both of us that this incident was inappropriate and contrary to standards of sportsmanship set by both Virginia Tech and the Atlantic Coast Conference.
We will continue our conversation with Virginia Tech as the process of addressing this issue is completed.”
