Mayweather's advice:

Feb 10, 2017, 3:55 PM

Purchase the CFL, make yourself the QB of the best team, buy out all the other teams and fill their rosters with former Arena league players and run roughshod over them for a decade. Then, in 2027, get the players from the 2005 NFL pro bowl to scrimmage your team and proclaim the winner the best ever. After that, retire and mentor the QB of the 2028 CFB national champion.

I think Watson is who he is. I don't think he's impressionable. I think he's the one who makes an impression on others. He's no Jameis or Lamar...he knows who he is and has a heck of a role model in his mom.

That waste of space should be in jail. I hope DW4's agent didn't set that up to get media run, if he did I'm concerned about how they're handling him.

Heard mayweather was dodging Deshaun's questions all night. Then bear hugged him until the quarter ended. True story.

Y'all crack me up...

with these glass houses you live in. And why focus on all of the negative that y'all are saying could "rub off" on Deshaun? How bout the 49-0 excellence and mastery of your sport rubbing off? Or how about him advising him on how to own every aspect of his own name, brand and promotion so that he's not getting pimped anymore like he did in college? But never mind...y'all rather not look at the positive side. That's not good message board fodder.

I agree. I'm a big boxing/mma fan and have followed Floyd for a long time. He has made mistakes but it seems that the media/fans always attack him on his style of boxing. Does run occasionally? Yes. Does he hug his opponents occasionally? Yes. But years after Floyd really does hang up the gloves (I know he's "retired" but we all know he's going to go for 50) then that's when I think people will realize just how great he is/was and how difficult it is to do what he has done. He's been in the ring with the best for 20 years and has never even been knocked down. Although i don't always agree with what Floyd says orb does, i respect him as a fighter and admire what he has done in his career
