Quite a sad state we live in where the queer (both meanings intended here) minority can over-rule the majority. It is happening over and over again in this country. "By the people, for the people" isn't really a thing anymore.

While it is actually a commentary or editorial on the Progressive Income Tax, it actually sheds light on the similar mentality of going with the 'PC' answer, or more accurately, the: "What's in it for me" approach or mentality...
... and since this is a football forum, if this type of behavior and mentality continues to spread and dominate, college football as we know (and love it today) is SCREWED! (and of course, so is the entire country).

Dude.... I'm on chic-fil-a's side. For some reason all the liberals scream about freedom of speech, unless you freely voice your non-support for on of their causes. Then they think you should be banished. It's the most hypocritical thing I believe I've ever witnessed.

Business owners that open their mouth about social norms and tie it to their company values open their company up to people who disagree with their social belief system.
Your use of the word discrimination is an exaggeration. I don't want to hear Dan Cathy's beliefs on homosexuality, the government, or whatever else. I want him to shut his mouth and make me a sandwich. If he wants to do more than that, I'll go somewhere else where I can just get a #### sandwich and not have to feel that by buying his chicken that I am somehow supporting his social views (which I may or may not agree with). Just shut up and make me a sandwich.

I doubt he will miss your business. After he expressed his opinion, which he has the right to do, people showed up in masses to eat there. You couldn't even get near a Chick-fil-A it was so packed. The majority spoke. In this country, the majority used to rule...now we cave to a small, select group.

You misunderstand tigerking79, gay people's sin is worse than 'Christian's' sins because it is a sin they don't themselves enjoy.
It's in the Bible, "...all sin is equal in the eyes of God" which in 'evangelical' literally translates into "Gay sin is worse than our sin".
