I give Old Mrs. a 50-50 shot of being #1 this week. Of course, just like last year, their win will validate them and the SEC West, not expose Bama (which is really what happened...). I think they could jump OSU because the Buckeyes struggled at home with NIU yesterday.

I also think LSU jumps us into the top 10 (probably justifiably) and Bama clings to the #10 spot (see above re: exposure vs. validation...).

I also wouldn't be surprised if Auburn hangs onto the #25 spot. Mark it down.

Anyway, I say Old Mrs. and LSU jump us and Bama stays ahead of us so we don't move up this week. Considering we struggled on the national TV game as well I wouldn't be surprised if we drop a spot.

Not that it matters at all. Just keep winning!
