Re: Once the warranty has expired, a stage 1 turbo can basically

Jul 15, 2015, 9:46 AM

I've had a couple of WRXs with the turbo flat 4's. My last one is one of the few cars I've owned that I truly miss. Got rid of it because the wife hated riding in it. Made her sick to her stomach :)

Cosworth makes a Stage 1 and Stage 2 kit for it(FRS/BRZ). It's been a while since I've looked at it, but I believe they warranty the engine with their kits.

91 octane's no problem. $2.00-$4.00 extra per fillup.

People are all like "you pay for the most expensive gas? why don't you just use 89?"

These are usually the same people who are willing to drive 25 miles to save 60 cents.

Not to mention, there's a whole slew of folks who get a car from their parents after graduation and nothing else. That's the end.

Looking back, my suitemates bitching about me being a "spoiled rich kid" is all the more laughable considering their parents were stuffing money into their bank accounts week-to-week while I was working a job.
