I don't have a major problem with those rankings, although

I would probably have Fisher a bit lower on the list, given his built-in recruiting advantage based on his school's location.

What is your response to this quote in the article?

It's a little of both, but the reality that FSU was blown out in the College Football Playoff by the team that was blown out in the championship game underscores how Fisher didn't get enough from a team full of future NFL players.

Jimbo has had plenty of talent to accomplish much at FSU. He nor his staff cull much when it comes to player character (reminds me a lot of scar). He has won a lot of games, but he and his program are an embarrassment to our conference and to college football for the lack of character they demand. It seems that low moral expectations and poor team control are pillars of their program. Jimbo is an enabler. Sorry, but I am very ashamed of him, and of the FSU administration and fans for allowing it and even supporting it. I am so glad I am not an FSU fan.

I think that's justifiable. Jimbo should probably be first

but i understand the argument for putting Cutcliffe ahead of Dabo - what he's done at Duke has been pretty amazing.

Let's reverse roles... how many games per season would

Jimbo win at Duke, and how many games per season would Cutcliffe win at FSU -- with all that Florida talent in his backyard?

It's impossible to even make an educated guess on that. All

i know is that i used to feel like you apparently do about Jimbo until i saw what he did last season. Every game that team played like crap in the first half last season, and every game Jimbo would make adjustments at halftime that would turn the game around and lead to FSU dominating the 2nd half. He earned way more respect from me last year than he did with his super team that won the title in 2013. I'm actually convinced that he's a very good coach now.

Who knows how he would do at Duke... or how Cutcliffe would do at FSU for that matter. Certain jobs fit certain coaches very well, and there's really no way of knowing how successful they would be in a different environment.

Either way i would have those two 1-2 right now and Dabo probably 3rd, and I don't think that's even a sleight to Dabo. Unlike 5-6 years ago, there are a lot of good coaches in the ACC now. Those 3, Petrino, Paul Johnson, and guys like Doeren and Fedora that have shown a lot of potential.
