The SEC is off to yet another flying start to the year as I'm sure you've noticed. Everything from theft to underage bootlegging, repeat offenders, and even naked Twister- details below!

January 1st- Tough start to the year as the SEC-united- crimson tide lose to Ohio St. No vicarious title again this year.

January 5- Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly in court for disorderly conduct. Accepts a plea deal, community service. Cause he learned the first 5 times he got off, right?....

January 7- Former UGA and current NFL DB Tim Jennings arrested for DUI, wreckless driving for doing 99 in a 65.

January 15- 'Man chooses arrest over ratting out LSU football player' A 25-year-old shoe store employee was arrested for selling LSU game-worn equipment on EBay. January 20- LSU's former player Elliot Porter arrested on domestic charge.

January 22- Ole Miss S Trae Elston and WR Damore'ea Stringfellow arrested for disorderly conduct. Elston was also charged with resisting arrest.

January 22- Its Go Time! Bama and Auburn womens basketball teams brawl on the court. Two players ejected.

January 29- Former LSU FB Quinn Johnson arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman. "Quinn Johnson was arrested last week in a series of domestic disputes that the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office described as turning increasingly violent and ended with him pulling a gun on the woman. Johnson also is accused of attacking the same woman on Jan. 7 and 9. In one alleged attack, he grabbed the girlfriend by the hair and slammed her head into a bed rail, Bacala said. The girlfriend also accused him, in a separate incident, of slapping her face, pushing her into a closet and instructing her not to leave until he was gone."

February 1- Auburn dismisses Hasina Muhammad after her role in the fight vs rival Bama.

February 4- Tennessee dismisses DT Michael Sawyers.

February 9- Former Tennessee Vol Riyahd Jones named a suspect in an alleged rape.

February 10- Bama RB Tyren Jones suspended for "conduct not to the standard of the Alabama football program." Surely he'll straighten up and not make this list again on March 31st, right?...

February 11- Former gamecock lineman ''slams'' medical staff on Twitter. In his defense, what was he supposed to do, talk football?

February 12- Former Vol Michael Williams indicted on two counts of rape.

February 13- Gamecock Shameik Blackshear arrested for petit larceny.

February 23- Arkansas DE Tevin Beanum arrested for DWI, minor in possession, and failure to dim lights.

February 23- former Gamecock commit Michael Bowman arrested for theft at a NC Walmart. "On the footage a man was seen using bolt cutters to cut a hole through the fence in the garden section of the Walmart. The man was seen going back into the store, gathering items and then pushing them through the hole out of the store."

March 1st- Victor Hampton was jailed for DWI, speeding, wreckless driving and open container. In fairness, he was only doing 100 in a 55 zone... Investigators said two other men were passengers in Hampton’s vehicle and attempted to hide their weapons under the front passenger seat before the trooper approached them.

March 2- Ravens cut former gamecock Vic Hampton after his arrest.

March 2- Clemson defeats scar, takes the series with a 7-0 drubbing. Just throwing that out there..

March 3rd- Shameik Blackshear's first court date. Going to trial, didn't have to appear. TBA. You know how this will go...

March 7th- A thief wearing a Gamecocks hat was caught on camera brazenly picking out a $600 Dewalt Drill Combo Pack from the Martinez, GA Lowe’s and leaving the store without paying. Authorities say the man may have been driving a Dodge Ram truck with a South Carolina tag. A disguise you ask? Not hardly...

March 9- Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly back in court. Judge Susan Eagan wants Swag to prove he has completed his community service. If not, he will face 15 days in jail.

March 11- Texas A&M WR Frank Iheanacho arrested for providing false/fictitious information. The charges stem from a February shoplifting incident in a Bryan Wal-Mart, according to KZNE Radio

March 12- Miss St OL Elgton Jenkins arrested for simple assault.

March 13- Miss St leading WR De'Runnya Wilson arrested on drug charges

March 23- Former Tide player Brent Calloway arrested for felony unlawful possession of dangerous drugs and second-degree poss. of marijuana.

March 26- UT Vol OL Coleman Thomas arrested for theft.

March 27- Ole Miss student charged with federal civil rights crimes. Graeme Phillip Harris was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of conspiracy to violate civil rights and one count of using a threat of force to intimidate African American students because of their race or color.

March 29- Bama player/ former UGA player John Taylor arrested for domestic violence for a second time. Auburn to inquire on his eligibility?....

March 29- Bama S Geno Smith arrested for DUI, his second time.

March 30- Sentencing in Vanderbilt rape trial delayed but the two convicted remain in jail.

March 31- Bama RB Tyren Jones dismissed from team after drug arrest

April 5- 31 Kentucky fans arrested in wake of loss to Wisconsin. Three taken to the hospital.

April 15- UT's Coleman Thomas in court for felony theft charges. Charges dismissed...

April 15- Ga. mom arrested on mulitiple charges after playing "naked Twister" with daughter and friends at a party she hosted. She is also accused of having sex with two of them- one was her daughter's boyfriend. April 19th- Gators J.C. Jackson arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery. "Essentially, Jackson (allegedly) setup an acquaintance and his home to be robbed by two armed individuals, and then very quickly exited stage left." Held in Alachua Co.
