still trying to down load it. I keep getting a message that

Jan 17, 2015, 9:49 PM

says it is already on the computer but it does not show up in program files. One message said it was in Explorer 11. Not sure what that means.

Glad to hear. I can't count the number of computers I've fix

Jan 17, 2015, 9:48 PM

with Malwarebytes. Lately I've been shocked to see folks absolutely infested with trojans/viruses/bhos etc. while having an active subscription with Norton suite as well as McAfee suite (Paid versions.) The last 2 I fixed had 388 infections on one with Norton suite (paid subscription, active protection) and the other with 500+ with paid McAfee(again, showing active protection. I use the Comodo CIS suite which is totally free and combined with malwarebytes have had zero problems. Malwarebytes is an on-demand scan(free version is) and Comodo CIS is active protection. ESET online scanner is also useful as well.

I was amazed to see both Norton and McAfee not only not doing their job but in a sense is actually a liability. I suspect they pay big money to the likes of Dell, Gateway, etc.

through. One I saw was reporting program that was logging all my internet activity. That was why I had to refresh a number of times to get on some sites.

Run malwarebytes. When insrtalling, don't opt for the trial

Jan 17, 2015, 9:54 PM

premium. The free will do the trick. http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Did you not go with Panda? It's rated best free anti-virus protection of 2015.

Jan 17, 2015, 9:55 PM [ in reply to Yea, I am running Avast and Avira and things still got ]

Malwarebytes is rated best malware protection 2015.

Try going to "control panel" >> "programs" >>> "Adobe" >>>> "uninstall"

Restart computer and download and install again.

I did. Panda found a bunch too!

Avast and Avira are similar you need anti-malware too

Jan 17, 2015, 10:02 PM [ in reply to Yea, I am running Avast and Avira and things still got ]

malwarebytes, addaware or spybot.

No one anti-virus or anti malware gets everything. Only run one anti-virus continuously. You can keep the other for scans when you think you are infected.
