I'm excited about what we've done with who we've had, but I see our future as very bright. We now are in a "reload" mode. It's where I've wanted us to be for a long time.

Wonder if it was a coot that tried to run them off the road?

Also, the guy that was late for curfew is one of the many examples of what goes on behind the scenes that we never hear about. These coaches know who needs to get the boot.

Is being late for curfew really a reason to boot a guy off the team for good? Just wondering. We lose this game to Oklahoma. they have their starting QB back. We have Cole Stoudt. Good luck with that.

Where does it say that was the reason the player was not on the team? Let me help you, it doesn't.

I said this earlier this week in a post. I think a lot of people, including fans, will be surprise by the depth that Clemson has on defense. I also believe that we don't have many discipline problems because Dabo doesn't much care for how talented you are. If you can't control yourself, we don't want that player here. It makes for a better squad with that set in mind. Finally, I wonder if the reason we don't get as many highly regarded players is because part of the "Best Standard" is competing in the classroom just as hard as competing on the field? Noble concept....we win because we have intelligent talent and not just physical talent....

Pay attention, son. We've ranked high in recruiting for several years now.

Name how many top 10 players we have picked up in recruiting. I am not talking about position. I mean overall. You can go top 20 if you want....The point I am making is that Clemson doesn't necessarily need them because they can coach up talent....Been really, really good at it!

And if a couple of chips fall our way, we'll be ranked in the top five. At very least, we'll be in the top ten.

Watson is following in the footsteps of the original #4 on and off the field.

When you talk of highly regarded picks position ranking is all it matters. I don't care if the #1 ranked offensive tackle is ranked #35 overall. It's still the #1 tackle.
