No fault of our own, but good chance we stay in the top 25

7 of the 10 teams ranked from 16-25 in the last CFP Poll lost.
16. Nebraska (L to #20 Wisconsin) 17. LSU (bad L to 5-5 Arkansas) 18. Notre Dame (bad L to 4-6 Northwestern) 19. Clemson (yeah, not good) 20. Wisconsin (W against #16 Nebraska) 21. Duke (bad L to 5-5 Virginia Tech) 22. Georgia Tech (enough) 23. Utah (W against Stanford) 24. Texas A&M (L to Missouri) 25. Minnesota (L to Ohio State)
So the new 15-25 will look something like this:
15. Wisconsin 16. Auburn 17. Georgia Tech 18. Utah 19. Missouri 20. Nebraska 21. Oklahoma 22. Colorado State 23. Marshall 24. Clemson 25. USC
Only teams left competing for top 25: Duke (8-2), Notre Dame (7-3), Minnesota (7-3), LSU (7-4), Texas A&M (7-4), Louisville (7-3), West Virginia (7-4).
Depending on how the committee views Colorado State and Marshall, we should be ranked somewhere between #22 and #25.

So does it really matter? No wins over a quality team, struggled in other games, makes us,imo, not a top 25 team.

Didn't say we deserve it. Didn't say it matters. But I do think a lot of people on here will be surprised to see us still in the top 25.
There are 21 teams that will definitely be in the top 25. The other 4 spots will go to 4 of these 11 teams. Several of these teams also lost this weekend (some of them to teams much worse than Georgia Tech):
Marshall (10-0), Colorado State (9-1), USC (7-3), Duke (8-2), Notre Dame (7-3), Minnesota (7-3), LSU (7-4), Texas A&M (7-4), Louisville (7-3), West Virginia (7-4), Clemson (7-3).

Again, you tell me what you would do with this list:
There are 21 teams that will definitely be in the top 25. The other 4 spots will go to 4 of these 11 teams. Several of these teams also lost this weekend (some of them to teams much worse than Georgia Tech):
Marshall (10-0), Colorado State (9-1), USC (7-3), Duke (8-2), Notre Dame (7-3), Minnesota (7-3), LSU (7-4), Texas A&M (7-4), Louisville (7-3), West Virginia (7-4), Clemson (7-3).
