Feasters eyes will be popping out of his head this weekend....hanging out with Gurley, Marshall, Chubb and Sony! B-MAC plays freshmen......simple as that. That should trump Dabo's "but....but....but....we offered you first!" Feaster will look great in RED and Black.

Not sure where you're going with this.......the lack of a IPF didn't hurt us signing our most recent RB's................Gurley, Marshall (over Cu) then 5-stars Sony and Chubb. Whenever we do build that IPF you can bet it will be cutting edge......and w/o the adjacent sewage retaining pond.

for sure........our defense is a work in progress.....we all knew this coming into the season..... but have you seen our D-class Pruitt is bringing in? Feaster will want no part of Morris' offense which has been exposed this season. Thank God for defense....amirite? and weak a$$ scheduling. Cu would be a 4-5 loss team playing in the SEC.

would give Dabo that "We Play in The SEC" bump that your coaches have to USE NOW TO COMPETE with Dabo, he's own them on equal footing. LOLOLREAD that agiain, those vaunted SEC coaches have to play the conference card just to compete with him now, so the alsy thing any of you SEC knuttswingers ever want to see in Clemson in the SEC.We'd OWN IT.

you're just "jelly" the SEC has owned the top ten the entire season. we own two of the four playoff spots as we speak. We have to take each other out because no one outside the conference is man enough. Th entire ACC is riding FSU's coattails.

going on you would never have posted this.
Our team has beat every team we were suppose to with half of our offensive players out and with an injured second string QB, that can't even be said for the mutts versus unrankeds.
BTW, that blocker and QB will be true freshman, while our O-Line studs will have a year or two under their belts, D Watson will be a junior and will have 3 stud backups for the future.
Brooks, Dye, Choice, Fuller will be in effect next year with Oglesby and McCloud doing what Harvin did at Florida, not to mention our WRs will be nasty. Chad's O will be doing the exposing and Feaster will be the type of back we don't have.
Looks like a tough sale in Clemson, huh Mutt?

That's the exact same arguement I heard in the preseason. Fact is Feaster can come to UGA where he'll be "featured" in the offense.....not just some afterthought mentioned after your QB and WRs beat up Wake Forest or Syracuse again. Gurley nor Marshall bought in to Dabo's BS.....why would any RB? It's been years since Cu signed a top knotch RB.

### difference does that make? lmao......I'm sure that doesn't make the Buffalo Bills front office feel any better. I'll be willing to bet CJ's next contract will be slightly smaller. Spiller can't even beat out Fred friggin Jackson for pete's sake!

Guess the mutts are only taking Feaster in the next two classes?
We have made a place for Feaster to be the true future futures back at Clemson, for some time now. First offer it is.
His freshman year is the only one that we will be so deep at RB depth.
Keep dreaming on the Wake and Syracuse pipe dream.
Meanwhile at Clemson it has been three years since we lost to an unranked team.
We have in that time won our conference, a BCS Bowl and another that was the biggest non BCS game (better than some BCS games that year) and that bowl was known to be in line as a BCS, which it is now.
What have your Dawgs done? Or that's right the blew the SEC Championship, just like they blow their talent every year.

What you gonna do spread everybody out with 4 or 5 running backs at wide receiver? No running back wants to go and sit behind other running backs. It will get old afterwhile and somebody will want out.

weren't the dawgs crying how last year was because of the injury bug? If it weren't for injuries ya'll woulda won the NC. Yeah right ...keep on dreaming
If we played in your division of the SEC we would be in the championship game. Which by the way, is gonna be won for the second year in a row by a Big 12 team. Ya'll are so tough right!

Absolutely. Any 5-star who is so convinced that he
Nov 11, 2014, 3:01 PM

"...ain't afraid of competition" and is so confident that he will beat out the other 5-stars ahead of him is really putting all of his eggs in one basket. Sure hope he'd not take similar risks with his 401K, his family decisions, etc.
The other 4- and 5-stars on the roster also admirably believe they'd win out in a competition. NONE of them want to sit the bench.
In all honesty, why would ANY of them be satisfied with the other possible outcome of "being the man" maybe one year (because of all of the depth)--or maybe even not at all--when they had a much greater opportunity to be "the man" 3 or 4 years at one of their other favorite schools?
I'll never understand how anyone can have so much blind confidence in themselves so as to ignore the reality that they have only limited control over their circumstances and no real control over others'. Similarly, I'll never understand how they can dismiss the reality that, statistically, the likelihood of their winning out over all of the equally-talented and more experienced players ahead of them is much lower than the reality that they will be red-shirted and then likely in a position of sharing the ball far more than most elite players like.
Finally, I especially don't understand this whole mentality for football players who play a position where there are limited opportunities...like QB, RB, and even positions like TE. Obviously, WRs, hybrid RB/WRs, DL, OL, DB, LB/DB, etc. offer more opportunity for PT due to need for depth at all times.
A team obviously needs SOME depth at QB and then more for RB. But UGA's situation is just a head-scratcher if they continue to pull in TOP RB talent. I really would wonder about that player's decision-making ability. They best expect that the class after them would pull in a top RB, too. Chances are they will be quite familiar with the sidelines/bench more than they ever had in their life.
There's only one ball.

You better fear B-MAC! He has a knack for signing "multiple" stud RBs in the same class. Gurley/Marshall....Chubb/Michels. Should not be hard to convince a single talent to play at RB University. Clemson will be on the outside looking in after this weekends visit.

superdawg51, there is no doubt you get the RB's

just look at your RB roster. Clemson fans nor coaches can deny that, its unfortunate we could not at least get one of those great RB's because nobody will lie and say we would not love to have Gurley, Marshall, Michel, Chubb.
That being said, you do realize the underachievement with such high quality players all over the field. Our game with the Dawgs this year was a much better game than anyone realizes. We had our 5th year senior in the game our of loyalty, knowing darn well we had a phenom on the bench who in all reality was ready to go. You wore our D down, but our own offense killed us in the 2nd half(your D does get credit even though our better QB was on bench). We missed a FG and the game was 3 points until the 4th quarter when you dominated us and we basically seemed to just give up(or give out maybe).
You seem to be a super fan brother, just like myself except for the Tigers. Feaster is a huge need for us, he seems to have all the things needed to be a great talent at the college level. There is a lot of time left, and you need to make sure to get your house in order b/c with our recruiting this year with the best offensive lineman and a QB established and more on the way I am feeling really good about our chances.
Feaster, enjoy your trip to Athens because then you will realize just how nice Clemson really is. My excitement runneth over with the talent we are bringing in, prepare for the rise of the Tigers!!

Dabo offered first and the depth chart looks more inviting in Clemson. I'm just saying with our head recruiiter and RB coach Brian McClendon we're going to get our foot in the door big time this weekend. I'd give the home school the advantage until otherwise noted.....by Feaster. This young man has plenty of quality options available to say the least. Distance is part of the equation so based on that alone I think it comes down to Clemson and Georgia.

Is Feaster UGA's style of back? I have doubts that he would be a mail-carrier even in Clemson's offense. Nick Marshall is a pretty incredible talent and while I know injuries have hurt him he was never going to be the feature back at UGA.

we had Marshall at CB. the plan was for him to play basketball as well and because of this it was decided that it would be too much for him mentally to play both. lol.....he'd be our best QB on the roster right now. He does fit Malzahn's system better though.

Clarify: Talent gap minimal in skill positions, BUT
Nov 11, 2014, 7:20 PM
|

nowhere near equal on that Offensive Line... And that is such a major hole on our team that is exposed on a continual basis against better competition, thus the losses to Lamecocks, FSU, Dawgs. We have some huge wins over OSU, LSU, Dawgs but for we won all those games in tight contest, most of our losses are now so closely contested in the end!
You bring up a good point though, at skill positions we are pretty much as good or better(exception being obvious, RB).
Go Tigers!!

Washaun ealy, Cailb king, isaih crowell, Nick marshall, are all plenty of reason for feaster not to go to uga. 4 nd 5 star rbs that never panned out. All since 2011.
Clemson Ellington and spiller. Both 1000 yd rushers. Both starting in the nfl. We have had one rb dismissed. No transfers.
To be considered rb u, you gotta send em to the next level.
