My reaction too.

Me too. At least he looks more intimidating and football player-like than that lineman Tnet reported on a few weeks ago. Ya'll know... The white glasses-wearing, chubby hipster kid.

Have you actually watched GAME FILM on the "glasses wearing, chunky hipster"????

That kid is NASTY and the Clemson coaches would take him in a heartbeat!

This young man as well. They FINISH plays, and aren't really satisfied until the D-lineman they are up against...are on the ground!!

Go Tigers!!!

That is the way it should be played. To the finish. I can't begin to tell you how many OL I have seen quit on blocks that wound up making the play on the ball carrier/QB.

An 8 for one person may be the equivalent of a 9 or 10 to someone else. Personally, I can't imagine ever giving a visit a 10. When I take those polls about customer service, 9s almost never hit my keyboard.

We have this measurement called Net Promoter Score where we measure our positive customer feedback (>8) or promoter. We subtract negative scores of 4 or below. I just can't imagine ever giving any customer service experience higher than 8, but some people do.

But he said they gave it about an 8. That's not an 8 +, closer to a 7 3/4 than an 8+;)

What would you think if he gave every school he visited a 10 (perfect score)? I don't blame him. If the chemistry is right, he'll choose Clemson.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

it was Fall Break and the whole campus was vacant.***

An 8? I said last week

Nov 5, 2014, 6:14 PM [ in reply to an 8? ]

That it was Fall Break and not the best weekend since a lot of students and faculty would be gone.

This coming Saturday would be better - no game on Saturday and students on campus.

Oh well?

Darn! I do wish it had not been Fall Break and more students had been on campus.

Re: New Story: Elite lineman breaks down Clemson visit

Nov 5, 2014, 3:55 PM

The visit was mainly for his mom to get familiar with the coaches and learn about the education part of Clemson. The was given an 8 which is pretty #### good.

Re: New Story: Elite lineman breaks down Clemson visit

Nov 5, 2014, 4:01 PM

Yeah an 8 without the campus buzzing pre Gameday sounds pretty high. Columbia would be a 2 or 3 in a similar scenario.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: New Story: Elite lineman breaks down Clemson visit

Nov 5, 2014, 5:12 PM

I would never rate Columbia as high as a 2 or 3 even under the best circumstances. (I lived in West Columbia while I was in high school.)

Re: New Story: Elite lineman breaks down Clemson visit

Nov 6, 2014, 4:36 AM

I live on the west side here in shitersville, and a 3 is considered a very high ranking on a scale of 0 to 50. And that is coming from someone who lives here, and not from someone who hates shitersville just b/c its the home of the university of cocksuckers!!!

Agree that any time a Ghost town can rate as high as an 8, that would mean to me that the ghost had something going for its self even when dead!!!

His Mom is very popular. If his mom is the babe over his right shoulder, I understand why everyone wanted to "talk" with her.

Pretty smart. Mom probably wanted him to experience Clemson when the town is not electric.

These days unless recruits give you irrational numbers like

Nov 5, 2014, 6:15 PM

12 out of 10 or 300% committed, you have no chance of landing them.
