That guy gets it! It's about our culture...few places can match Clemson any day, not just game day!

Hello y'all! I am Sam Fortier, the author of that blog post in the link above. I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of you. Today, I got a notification that my page was receiving a lot of traffic and I looked to see "TigerNet.com" as the biggest reference to the site.
This website right here, with so many active, passionate users is why Clemson has such a great football program. From the outside looking in, seeing what y'all have in these fans...it's special.
I only have two things I was disappointed with in my trip: I didn't buy more sweet tea, and I didn't get to see DeShaun Watson play.
Thank you again for being such gracious hosts to a northerner like me.

We are glad you enjoyed the experience. I had two Syracuse fans (father and son) sitting behind me at the game as guests among a lot of Clemson fans. It was their first visit, and they had a great time. Everyone was respectful and welcomed them, so that was good to see. Maybe we can bring extra sweet tea when we come to NY. Good luck the rest of the season!

obviously a fast learner to observe so much of what's great about Clemson in such a short time. Conversely, there are lots of "slow learners" who have lived in our state for all of their lives who chose to attend the chicken college down the road. Catch their classic fire extinguisher stadium entry and the whiney rooster crow on the SEC Network (don't visit or your perception of the South will change in less than 24 hours).

It was refreshing especially given all the "Boogate" posts... yours describes much more of what I expect out of us as hosts.

In the past year, I've made 21 business trips to Syracuse. I've made a lot of friends there but the place is miserably cold DEC through MAR. Being a native South Carolinian, I saw more snow last year than my previous 55.
One benefit of traveling to Syracuse was getting to see the Tigers play football and basketball in the Carrier Dome.
