Vic Beasley knows sack record not possible without Grady Jarrett

Vic Beasley has a chance to set Clemson's all-time sack record Saturday against Louisville, and he said earlier this week he has a celebration planned. But he also said he knows the record wouldn't have been possible without Grady Jarrett. Full Story »

Grady and Vic have been unbelievable leaders and representatives of Clemson University. And they're not bad at football either. I can't wait to see what they do in the nfl but ill sure miss watching them play on Saturdays.

Go Tigers!!!

I remember the summer before last season it was Clemson

day in the Greenwood. Tahj signed autographs for hours FOR FREE I might add, but Grady and a bunch of guys from the football team and Demarcus Harrison signed autographs also FOR FREE. I walked my son through the line and he was 8 at this time and Grady was so funny picking on him but Grady is LARGE MAN CHILD. These kids have gone through their entire time at Clemson and if they were not such great students and athletes you would not know who they were, which is a huge compliment to these kids and the staff. In a week with so many bad things going on we can take pride in our team for doing it right again. Sometimes it is more than wins and losses and we always WIN the Class Act game. I am always proud of our kids win or lose and how could you not be with the caliber of kids we have at Clemson. Go Tigers!!!

Jarrett has just been ridiculous this season.

Not only has he been stuffing the middle, but he’s also been sniffing-out, chasing-down, and tackling QBs, RBs, & WRs all the way out the sideline— even the sideline AWAY from his position. Amazing hustle, smarts, speed, power, technique, balance, stamina, etc. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite like it from a DT. I hope the NFL takes him early and he makes a career in the NFL despite his size.

the best pure FB player we have had on defense

Since Anthony Simmons and Keith Adams. Just an absolute relentless SOB who drinks a glass of WANT TO every game.....something that cannot be coached or taught. I used to think I would never see another MD Perry, Jim Stuckey, or Jeff Bryant in terms of pure FB player on or DL. Their motors never stopped and Grady has joined them as far as I am concerned. Best player on the team on either side of the ball, period.
