Watson is completing 85% against the blitz and is averaging 18 ypa in that situation?!?!

The defense got all the hype and chatter this off-season and it is time for that side of the ball to put a complete game together. So far they have been disappointing and I don't count the game against SC state as a true defensive test. The offense will continue to get better each week with watson now under center. If the defense can start playing like everyone said they were going too, then it could be a awesome rest of the season!

I hope the problems with the running game have been fixed this week. Who ever establishes the run game with sucess, along with passing at.will, is gonna win. It's gonna take both to win this one. If not, it's gonna be close and a long afternoon.

we have had problems with that crowd for years so your concern is well understood... this poor play against them goes all the way back to Danny!!even if we win it will be closer than it should!! we should win by @ least 21 but 10 is more likely!!

I think the history with NCSU is why I feel nervous today. Plus I lived in Raleigh (and worked with many NCSU grads) during that period when they kept beating us. This game is always a mystery to me. I follow recruiting and almost every year (for many years) we are in the top 10 or 15 in recruiting and NCSU is down in the 40's with hardly a single 4 or 5 star recruit. So why do they give us trouble every year? I hope today is the day we get a complete game from O and D. I'm sure we are the better team.
